Popular Tamil Magazine Vikatan has rated Prabhas as No.1 Top Hero of the year placing him ahead of top Tamil heroes like Ajith, Vikaram, Vijay, Dhanush and even Kamalhassan.
The magazine has stated, " Before Baahubali, Prabhas almost had no introduction in TamilNadu. But today he stands tall like the Baahubali statue in the interval bang. When the film ended he strongly etched himself in the heart of Tamil fans. With his royal appearance, piercing eyes and awesome personality, he has amassed the support of ladies like the Shivaling he lifted in Baahubali. The Magazine had earlier rated 'Baahubali' No.2 Tamil movie of the year, placing it just behind the much loved and award winning 'Kakka Muttai'
